Quantum Break and Control are the two most famous Xbox One games released in 2019 so far and many people like to compare these two games to each other because both games have different styles and play differently.
Main Difference
First of all, let’s talk about their similarities. Both games are developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, Quantum Break was released on April 5th, 2016 while Control game will be released on August 27th, 2019, both are third-person shooter games with story modes and multiplayer modes, they had live-action trailers made for them too.
Remedy Entertainment, known for their iconic action games such as Max Payne (2001) and Alan Wake (2010), recently announced that their newest release, Control, will be a little bit different from what we’ve come to expect. While still containing all of Remedy’s classic gameplay elements: puzzle-solving, shooting, sneaking around with stealth mechanics, there is one element that stands out in its exclusion: time travel.

Introduction To Control (Video Game)
The player gets a very clear idea of what exactly they are going to experience while playing the Control game. The story behind each character is also available to view so that players can be sure if they want to play or not before it’s launched.
All platforms supported by control like Windows 10, Xbox One, and PS4 are listed with their respective key features and technical details making it easy for gamers to decide which platform will suit them better based on their gaming habits.
Introduction To Quantum Break
Set in New York City during a possible future where time travel has been invented, gameplay revolves around Jack Joyce using his ability to manipulate time to solve puzzles and outmaneuver enemies or else be caught in an endless loop of failing to change events past.
Difference Between Control game and Quantum Break
Both games are action-adventure in the genre, however, Control takes place in an alternate timeline. The alternative universe is where Maxine Caulfield has gained control over time by messing around with powers she inherited from a childhood vision. Unlike life-based on choice making that we will see in Max’s original timeline at her school or Blackwell Academy, where she fell for a boy named Chloe Price during her time there.
1. Controls
The gameplay of Control works using typical methods for an adventure game. Much like other first-person titles, including CD Projekt Red’s work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, there are two control schemes available to use at any given time. When playing with a keyboard and mouse, players are given a WASD scheme for movement with Left Click used to interact with objects in the world.
2. Storyline
Control is a new 3rd person shooter from Remedy Entertainment. While it might look similar to other shooters, its unique storyline and action elements make it a unique experience. The player takes on the role of Jesse Faden who is investigating an agency called the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). As she delves deeper into the investigation, she uncovers secrets behind FBC and gets wrapped up in supernatural events that lead her to discover her abilities.
3. Graphics
We noticed a few changes to graphics when comparing Control vs. Quantum Break. We’re not saying that either one is better than the other, but both games have great art styles and animations. Both of these games were created by Remedy Entertainment, so it was expected that there would be little difference between these two titles. Although they are similar, they each have subtle differences in color tones, facial animations, character designs, and more that make them unique from one another.

4. Gameplay
In both games, players control time-traveling characters who can manipulate time. However, their powers work differently. While you have more control over time in Control using your skills, Jack Joyce (the main character of Quantum Break) can manipulate it passively after a certain point in the story.
Conclusion
The graphics, story, and gameplay are all quite similar between both games. However, there are still some key differences between them. The main one is that control is a game which requires you to play using your controller whereas quantum break is more focused on shooting and third person type combat mechanics. Because of these factors, I would say that if you are trying to decide which one to get just pick whichever one you prefer because there isn’t a huge difference between them.
