Naruto vs. Ichigo: Who Would Win in a Fight?

While the Naruto and Bleach anime and manga series are vastly different, there’s one question all of their fans want to know: which series’ main character would win in a fight? While this may be just an entertainment question, it’s not an impossible one to answer—if you look at the facts closely enough.

Who is Naruto?

Naruto is a Japanese ninja who has been training since he was young. He is known for his incredible speed, agility, and reflexes. His style is called Shurikenjutsu (Ninja Art). He uses a special type of throwing star that can be used as both a weapon and a tracking device.

  1. Naruto’s signature move is the Rasengan, which is a powerful technique that creates a massive explosion. This technique is based on chakra and is created from the user’s chakra.
  2. Naruto is able to use ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, and kenjutsu.
  3. Naruto is the son of Uzumaki Minato Namikaze, and Hinata Hyuga.
  4. Naruto is the only child of his parents.
  5. Naruto is the first person to learn about the existence of Kyuubi.

The Tale of Uzumaki Naruto

Long before he became an international symbol of perseverance and dedication, Uzumaki Naruto was born to parents Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. A star student of his class, young Naruto grew up surrounded by loved ones in Konoha, but with no knowledge of who his family was or why they were feared by so many.

In time, Naruto would find out that he is one of nine legendary Jinchuriki—humans gifted with tailed beasts sealed within their bodies—and that it is his destiny to save mankind from destruction at the hands of evil forces. To do so, however, he must first learn how to control Kurama—the most powerful Bijuu (Tailed Beast) ever known!

Who is Ichigo?

This is a Japanese word that means “to protect”. Ichigo is a symbol of protection and is used in many different ways. In this case, it refers to the protective barrier that surrounds the heart. This barrier can help us feel safe from harm and keep us protected from negative emotions.

Ichigo Kurosaki

The character Ichigo Kurosaki is a fictional character created by Masami Kurumada who appears in the manga series Bleach. He is a high-school student who has been chosen to become a Soul Reaper (a person who protects humans from spirits known as Hollow) after his life was saved by Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaver.

Ichigo Kurosaki’s Power

In the anime adaptation of Bleach, Ichigo possesses the power called zanpakuto, which allows him to use two swords at once. His zanpakuto is shaped like a giant scythe, but he uses only one word at a time.

The Saga of Bleach’s Ichigo Kurosaki

In many respects, Bleach’s Ichigo Kurosaki can be thought of as anime’s Batman. Like Batman, he is an orphaned hero who trained to become stronger and make it big on his own. Unlike Batman, however, Ichigo is significantly less disciplined; he was kicked out of his shinigami academy after going berserk when one of his classmates died.

Quirks

Both Naruto and Ichigo have their strengths, but they also both have weaknesses. Here’s how they compare to each other based on these aspects of their personalities. Let’s figure out who would win between these two main characters! Quirks, I mean. 🙂

Battle Style

The two are well-versed in hand-to-hand combat, but Naruto was trained by his sage of a grandfather, while Ichigo learned martial arts from Urahara. While they both have experience using swords, Naruto is better with weapons than Ichigo; he’s especially skilled with kunai and shuriken.

Abilities and Weaknesses

While both are strong, Naruto and Ichigo have different strengths. Naruto has an unlimited amount of chakra (when you consider he has access to ten thousand shadow clones) and can do any number of Jutsu attacks. While these attacks may be powerful, they take chakra, meaning they are only as powerful as his reserves allow. Being connected to Kurama makes him stronger than many other shinobi, but his eyesight is quite poor without it – especially when compared to many others like Ichigo.

Conclusion

One-on-one combat between Naruto and Ichigo is all but impossible to determine, even with access to abilities like Shikai, Bankai, and Sage Mode. And, while I’m as tired of reading these Who would win between X and Y articles as you are, if anyone at Crunchyroll were going to do it—at least with anything resembling scientific rigor—it would be me. So… here we go!
