Outer Wilds is a game that was released in 2018 by Annapurna Interactive. This game takes place on a planet called Rapture. You play as a man named Columbus who has crash-landed on this planet. As he explores the world around him, he finds out that his ship crashed into a mysterious object that is now controlling the people of Rapture. He then sets off to find a way to get back home.

This is why they took out quick minigames, futuristic weapons, and more side missions that seemed too trivial for them.

Both Outer Wilds and Outer Worlds are VR games. But that’s where the similarities end, at least for now. The major difference between these two is their target audience. While both games cater to RPG fans, they do so in vastly different ways. Outer Wilds was built with a co-op setting in mind while its sequel is a much more single-player focused.
